This month’s regular meeting is going to be combined with an evening dinner gathering and an excursion to the corn maze at All Seasons Nursery in Pasco.
We will meet at Cousins’ Restaurant at 4605 N Road 68, Pasco, WA 99301. After dinner and a quick meeting, we will drive to All Seasons Nursery, also on Road 68, just a few miles away. We will arrive at the Corn Maze around 6pm, so bring flashlights and extra batteries.
Family and friends are welcome.
EDIT: How about we actually put a date in here? The dinner/meeting/excursion will be on Saturday October 24th. Again, we will NOT be meeting on Monday, October 18th.

This Saturday, October 3rd, 2009, there will be a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Corvair. In cooperation with McCurley Chevrolet in Pasco, WA, we will be having a small gathering of Corvairs on the front row of their lot. 8:00am is the scheduled opening time, we don’t know how long we will be there, but probably at least through the early afternoon. Come by and share memories and looks at one of the most unique cars ever produced in the US.
Edit: see the map below for the location and driving directions.
Note that at this time US-395 Northbound over the Blue Bridge between Kennewick and Pasco is closed due to construction. You will need to use an alternate route such as taking Gum St. over the Cable Bridge or taking SR-240 west to I-182 East.

Judging of entries will be at 8:15am, so everyone needs to be in place and ready by 8:00am for judging. The parade begins at 10:00am. Hope to see you there and have fun!

This year’s Cool Desert Nights show in Richland, WA was just as sucessful as last year, with over 700 registered vehicles for the event, and a showing by our club of 13 Corvairs. A couple less than last year, but making an impression all together in two rows of parking.
